Ki Mobility | Adjusting a Catalyst 5

In this new module, our team will give you an overview of the features of the Catalyst 5 and will cover topics such as adjusting castor angle, seat depth and seat height. We will also cover the different hanger and castor options, and recent changes to the Catalyst 5 side guards.
The session will include time for Q & A and we will send you a complete pdf of the module after the session.

The Basic Programming component of this module covers the basics of powerchair programming, what you are trying to achieve and how to go about it. We will cover the VR2, Dynamic Shark and Q-Logic 2 controllers.
The AML ABC's component of the module will cover a wide variety of topics around working with Allied Medical and our products. We look at warranties, post-sale support, servicing options and go through how to use the Technical Resource Bank on our website.

Our team will cover topics such as changing the centre of gravity, wheel camber, rear seat to floor height and seat to footrest heights. We will cover how much adjustment there is to change the front seat height, adjusting the seat depth and back cane height. We will also discuss the new style backrest Ki Mobility have rolled out, the differences this has from the old style that it replaces, and how to adjust both.

The Q-Logic 3 modules will be spread over multiple sessions and will cover programming for powerchairs with Q-Logic 3, customising powerchairs to help clients get the most out of their device, using the ECON Eco System and troubleshooting as well as providing an in-depth product overview. This is a follow on from Module 1 and you need to have attended or viewed the first module prior to attending this module. We will be building on what was covered in the first module, looking at more advanced programming options.

The Q-Logic 3 modules will be spread over multiple sessions and will cover programming for powerchairs with Q-Logic 3, customising powerchairs to help clients get the most out of their device, using the ECON Eco System and troubleshooting as well as providing an in-depth product overview. This session will offer a complete overview of Interactive Assist, the diagnostic app from Quantum Rehab that provides a direct, real-time connection from a powerchair’s electronics to a provider’s programming station. The session will cover what can be resolved remotely, how to use the app on both android and iPhones and connecting through ECON-W.

This module focuses on setting up the i-drive Head Array and takes you through the various steps involved in setting this up on a powerchair equipped with Q-Logic 3. You will learn how to install i-drive, to connect i-Drive to Q-Logic 3, how to adjust the settings in Q-Logic 3 using Econ-W and how to make fine adjustments to the head array to suit the client’s needs.

This module covers how you can get the most of the Quantum Rehab TRU-Balance 3 seating systems by understanding how to adjust seat width, seat depth and correctly configure the centre of gravity. We will also cover the basic features and components of the REAC Lift and Tilt seat base system.
