The Bodypoint Leg Harness is a practical and comfortable solution for managing hip extension, thrusting, and sliding in wheelchairs. Designed in response to therapists’ feedback, this innovative product provides a higher level of control than traditional positioning aids. Each leg wrap runs from the rear of the seat to the inner thigh, distributing pressure over a larger surface area to stabilise the pelvis effectively.

The Leg Harness supports functional positioning for users with spasticity or frequent movement shifts, and it can be used alone or paired with a pelvic belt for even greater security. Its intuitive design ensures correct application with minimal effort, helping users maintain proper posture throughout the day.

Sold as a pair and includes a Bodypoint Frame Saver for mounting.

How do I determine the size I need for a Bodypoint product?

What different buckle styles are there for Bodypoint Hip Belt?

We offer a range of buckly styles based on the needs of the user.  They include options such as push button, side release, swivel buckle, and airline style buckles.  

What are your mounting hardware options for Bodypoint Lower Body Positioning?

You have to choose flat/cinch, additional hardware options (linked) based on what type of chair you have.

What is the difference between front, dual and rear pull in Bodypoint Hip Belts?

The pull syle is based on the type of adjustment you need to make to help position the client appropriately.  If you are unsure of which style to choose, please consult with our team.

What is the difference between a two point or four point Bodypoint pelvic belt?

While both belts offer great support, the four-point belt is able to offer more firm positioning and stays in place better due to the anchor/tether straps.  

Do you offer different pelvic support options?

Is the Bodypoint leg harness a “groin strap”?

No. The leg harness is positioned across the mid to upper thigh to support leg and pelvic alignment. It does not go through the groin.

How does the Bodypoint leg harness mount to the wheelchair?

The harness wraps around each leg, starting from the rear of the seat and securing to the inner thigh area at the front of the chair.

When should I use a Bodypoint leg harness?

The leg harness is helpful for clients with high tone, aiding in pelvic positioning. For best results, use it alongside a pelvic positioning belt.

How is the Bodypoint Evoflex different than a standard pelvic postioning belt?

The evoflex has rigid straps that allow the belt to give firmer support.  It is also mounted with spring washers, allowing the belt to be easity moved out of the way when not in use (and keeping it out of the wheelchair drive wheels).

Do you offer extensions for the Bodypoint Evoflex?

Yes.  You can purchase extensions with the belt that will provide an additional 12.5 cm (5") of length per side.  

How do I attach the Bodypoint Evoflex to a wheelchair?

The evoflex comes with mounting hardware that can be used with our frame clamps or mounted directly to the frame.  

What different Bodypoint Evoflex buckle styles?

You can choose from Push Button, Rehab Latch or swivel buckle.

Is this Bodypoint Evoflex belt sub-asis compatible?

Yes

How do Bodypoint shower chair calf supports attach to the chair?

The calf supports are designed to clip on to the leg rest of most shower chairs with sewn in tubing clips. Check tube size for compatibility.

How long do Bodypoint shower chair calf supports take to dry?

It depends on the environment, but they should air dry within a couple of hours. 

How do Bodypoint bath belts attach to the chair?

Bath belts can be secured in two ways: (1) With a plastic slide that wraps around the chair tubing or (2) Using grommets that allow you to screw the belt in place.

Can Bodypoint bath belts be used for chest or pelvic support?

Yes, bath belts can be used in either position, depending on the client’s needs.
