The Freedom Powerchair A07 is one of New Zealand’s lightest and most versatile electric wheelchairs, built for easy travel and daily use. With intuitive joystick control and a stable, compact frame, it offers outstanding indoor manoeuvrability and is equally suited to outdoor adventures.

The A07 folds in seconds into a slim, lightweight unit that fits easily into most vehicles or can be taken on planes as carry-on battery luggage. Powered by a high-performance lithium battery with the option to add a second for extended range, the A07 provides up to 24km of travel on a full charge.

It’s safe and easy to drive, with a wide wheel base, electromagnetic automatic braking and anti-tip technology to handle slopes and uneven terrain. The joystick mounts on either side for left or right-hand use, and the armrests and footrest are designed for easy access and comfort.

We don’t offer a buy-back or trade-in programme for Freedom Chairs. If you’re looking to sell your chair, the best option is to contact the dealer you originally purchased it from, as some may be able to assist with resale. Many customers also choose to list their chair on TradeMe or other local marketplaces to connect with buyers looking for a second-hand chair in good condition.
