Description

The Trimline Shoulder Harness is designed for individuals who require precise shoulder retraction while maintaining freedom of movement through the chest. Featuring two individually adjustable padded straps, this harness comfortably supports symmetrical or asymmetrical body positioning. The new MD (multi-directional) Pull Straps offer flexible configuration as either front-pull or rear-pull at the time of fitting, removing the need to select a pull style when ordering.

The Flat Mount attachment style allows for secure and straightforward installation onto solid wheelchair backrests or strap guides at shoulder height. For optimal user safety, this shoulder harness must always be used alongside a correctly adjusted pelvic support belt.

How do I determine the size I need for a Bodypoint product?

Which end fitting option should I choose for my Bodypoint chest support?

You have to choose flat/cinch, additional hardware options based on what type of chair you have.

Do the Bodypoint 4 point harnesses come with front pull or rear pull top straps?

Can be configured using multi-directional top straps depending on the client's needs.

Should a Bodypoint harness be used in conjunction with a pelvic positioning belt?

YES

Should I choose a two point or a four point Bodypoint upper body support?

If you are looking for lateral stability during activities, a two-point upper body support may be sufficient. If you require more trunk control and stability, including shoulder retraction, a four-point upper body support would be a better option.

Should I use strap guides with a Bodypoint harness?

If your backrest height doesn't allow optimal placement, strap guides offer more flexibility and positioning options. 

Why would I choose a zipper for Bodypoint chest support?

Based on your preference, or ease of transferring client in and out of the chair.

Should I choose the Underarm Release or the Center Release for the Bodypoint Monoflex Chest Support?

If the client needs to release the buckle themselves, the center-release might be easier. Some people prefer the appearance of the underarm release because no buckle is showing.

What are the benefits of choosing a Bodypoint Stayflex over a H-Harness?

More control, anterior trunk suport, covers more surface area - more distributed control for trunk.

How do Bodypoint bath belts attach to the chair?

The can attach to the chair via a plastic slide that wraps around the tubing of the chair, or, using grommets that allows you to screw the belt in place.

Can Bodypoint bath belts be used for chest OR pelvic support?

Yes, the belts can be used in either position based on the clients needs. 

How long do Bodypoint aeromesh bath belts take to dry?

It depends on the environment, but they should air dry within a couple of hours. 

What if I require a longer Bodypoint Elastic Mobility strap?

You can order our Elastic Mobility Strap Extender that is 72.5 cm (28.5") long. The Extender attaches to the elastic strap using hook and loop material.

Does the Bodypoint Elastic Mobility Strap replace a pelvic positioning belt or an upper body support?

No, it is intended for temporary positioning for various activities such as sports, play, or various activities.
