How long have you worked for Allied Medical?

6 months

What's your favourite Allied Medical product and why?

My favourite Allied Medical product is the Firefly Upsee. Having a young child myself, I really see the value in it. It’s wonderful how it helps kids with mobility issues walk and even dance by linking them up with an adult. It’s not just about getting around; it’s about sharing those special moments together.

What does a typical working day for you involve?

Updating the website, writing & sending emails to our suppliers/clients/dealers, and keeping up with emails in the marketing inbox.

What do you find to be the most rewarding aspect of working in the Assistive Technology Sector?

The most rewarding part of working in Assistive Technology is seeing the direct impact our work has on people’s lives. It’s incredibly fulfilling to help individuals with disabilities gain more independence and engage more fully with the world around them. Every breakthrough we make is a step toward greater inclusion and understanding.

What do you find most challenging about working in the Assistive Technology Sector?

The toughest part of working in Assistive Technology is hearing the tough stories from families, especially those involving kids. It's really heart-wrenching and hits close to home, reminding us of the real challenges people face every day.

What's series, podcast or book are you currently enjoying?

I'm currently reading Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister. I love a good murder mystery. A little bit dark but my favourite podcast is My Favorite Murder.

What's your favourite treat or pick me up during the week?

Whittakers Dark Peppermint Chocolate
