Emergency Consult: Expert Medical Advice at Your Fingertips

Emergency Consult: Expert Medical Advice at Your Fingertips

At Allied Medical, we love to see skilled professionals and innovative technology joining forces to make healthcare more accessible. That’s why we’re excited to share how Emergency Consult is helping New Zealanders access specialist medical advice from the comfort of their own home.

What is Emergency Consult?

Emergency Consult is a video consultation platform connecting New Zealanders with Emergency Medicine Specialists for non-critical medical concerns. Instead of waiting in the ED, you can receive expert advice instantly – all online. It’s ideal for sudden illnesses, injuries, or whenever you need professional guidance.

This platform offers direct access to some of Aotearoa’s top emergency doctors, all highly respected Fellows of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEMs) with extensive experience in New Zealand’s healthcare system.

Their seasoned specialists provide diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and other medical support. They can also issue scripts and medical certificates, arrange labs tests and x-rays, and offer referrals.

“We're rethinking healthcare delivery so that you can access medical care conveniently whenever you need it. And we're bringing the expertise of Emergency Medicine Specialists out from the bricks and mortar trappings of our hospitals to where they're most needed across the motu.”

— Jenni Falconer, Emergency Consult
