Description

Designed for users with limited hand function, the Bodypoint U-Shaped Joystick Handle offers maximum control and comfort for powered wheelchair users. The ergonomic, curved “goalpost” shape features a soft waterfall edge that comfortably cradles the hand and helps prevent slippage. Vertical wings provide tactile feedback and prevent hands from sliding off during use.

Available in two widths (3" and 4"), it accommodates various hand sizes and functional ranges. The handle can be easily reshaped using hot water for a personalised fit. It attaches temporarily by press-fit or can be made permanent depending on user needs. Compatible with most major power chair brands with stem sizes of 4.8 mm or 6.4 mm.

What Bodypoint Joystick stem size should I select for my wheelchair?

Most wheelchairs are compatible with 6.4MM stem size, but please check the compatability chart to confirm your wheelchair doesn't use a different size.

Can I cut the Bodypoint grooved mushroom joystick handle if it is too tall?

Yes, the grooved mushroom handle can be cut to your desired size using the grooves to easily cut. 

Do I need a rail or tube mounting clamp for the Bodypoint Midline Joystick?

Check underneath the armrest pad of your wheelchair to determine if it is tubular or flat (rail).

What arm style options are there for the Bodypoint Midline Joystick?

J, L, or Straight depending on the users needs.

Why do I need two mounting clamps for Bodypoint Midline Joystick Kit?

You use one adapter to attach the joystick controller to the midline arm, and one mounting clamp to attach the tri-lock rotating shaft to the armrest.
