With a large screen and easy to read words and numbers, the Digital Calendar Clock is ideal for those with impaired sight as well as anyone living with dementia. People with dementia will often lose track of time and can be unclear on the date or day of the week. Being able to quickly and easily identify the day of the week, month and time can be extremely comforting and grounding and bring their focus back into the present time.

Where can I see and try these items?

A large range of Resellers as well as the Disability Resource Centres around New Zealand have these items on display. Knowledgeable staff onsite are able to assist in finding a range of aids for any application and they can also order products on the customers behalf.

Is it possible for these lower value items to get funded?

Higher-priced items may be able to be funded, however, it is not very easy to get lower price items funded. It is recommend that you discuss this further with your therapist as it is possible to gain funding based on assessment.
